Pride and Prejudice 30th Anniversary Screening in Worthing

Fans of Jane Austen can celebrate the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice at a special full day screening in Worthing.

Starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle the much loved television drama follows the spirited Elizabeth Bennet as she navigates society family expectations and her growing relationship with the enigmatic Mr Darcy.

The event begins at 11am and includes an introductory talk by Ellen Cheshire exploring Jane Austen connections with Worthing and Brighton. Guests will then enjoy the full series across the day with intervals between episodes and optional needlepoint kits available during the screening along with themed zines provided for attendees.

The screening takes place at Connaught Cinema Union Place Worthing BN11 1LG and concludes at around 5.25pm with an optional post event discussion at Frasers Bar.
