St Richards Church 60th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraising Day

St Richards Church in Maybridge will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a special fundraising day featuring a visit from Worthing and Adur Town Crier Bob Smytherman.

Visitors can enjoy a flower festival depicting the life of St Richard, browse crafts and handmade items from local businesses, explore a historical display marking six decades of the church, and take part in a knitted mouse trail with prizes.

Family activities throughout the day include a large inflatable assault course, axe throwing, face painting, children’s entertainment, arena performances featuring singers, dancers and kung fu demonstrations, as well as a variety of stalls and a tombola. Food and drink will be available from Gourmet and Chill, Sussex Seaside Events and Cloud 9 Coffee.

An extensive raffle will offer prizes including £100 cash, a luxury food hamper, portrait photography vouchers, tickets for The Little Play Village, a relaxing facial voucher and many more prizes. The event takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 from 10am to 3pm at St Richards Church, Collingwood Road, Maybridge, BN12 6HZ.
