Sussex wrestling trophy bout in Worthing

Teenage wrestling champion P J Reeves will compete in one of the sport’s most notable annual events when he enters the ring at The Charmandean Centre in Worthing on Sunday. The Peacehaven athlete is one of four contenders battling for the Ken Joyce Trophy, which has been awarded each year since 1992.

Reeves is set to face either WWE NXT title winner Joel Redman or leading UK heavyweight Bullit, while newcomer Alexander Moore completes the line up. The afternoon show will also feature a major tag team contest involving Big Wade, David Lovejoy, Big Will Rocket and Christian Dante.
