Volunteer Gardening Morning at Beach House Park

Residents are invited to take part in a volunteer gardening morning at Worthing’s Beach House Park on Tuesday 6th May. The session runs from 10am to midday and offers a chance to contribute to the upkeep of this cherished green space, while enjoying time outdoors with others in the community.

This regular drop-in event, hosted by the local parks team, is held on the first Tuesday of each month and occasionally on Saturdays. Attendees will help with general care and maintenance of the park, including painting colourful planters and ensuring the area remains tidy and welcoming. No previous experience is necessary – just a willingness to get stuck in and support a vibrant public space.

Volunteering in the park is a fantastic way to connect with nature, support mental wellbeing, and meet like-minded residents. All equipment will be provided, and participants are advised to dress for the weather. The meeting point is the Green Flag award sign near the Palm Court Pavilion.
