Walk for Wadars sponsored seafront walk in Worthing

Walk for Wadars, the annual sponsored walk in support of Wadars Animal Rescue, takes place on Sunday 13 September from 10am at Goring Gap Green.

The scenic seafront route starts from the green behind Sea Lane Cafe and heads towards Worthing Pier before returning to Goring Gap.

Participants can choose between a five-mile walk or a shorter 2.5-mile route, with both following a flat course suitable for a range of ages and abilities. The event will also feature a children’s activity book and prize draw, a raffle, race bibs for participants, and cake and a certificate at the finish. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead, while anyone aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration costs £5 per person, with participants encouraged to raise additional sponsorship for animals in the charity’s care. Registration is available through Wadars, and further information can be obtained by emailing enquiries@wadars.co.uk or calling 01903 247 111.
