Worthing Heritage Festival Guided History Walks 2026

Historian Chris Hare will lead a series of guided history walks across Worthing as part of Worthing Heritage Festival 2026. The walks take place between 3 and 14 June and explore locations including Highdown, Cissbury Ring, Broadwater and Tarring, offering participants the chance to discover more about the area’s rich history while enjoying a walk.

The festival is organised by Worthing Heritage Alliance and brings together a range of local heritage organisations. Alongside the guided walks, the programme includes museum open days, history talks, a summer fair and opportunities to learn more about local landmarks and notable historical figures connected with Worthing.
