A27 lane in Lancing remains closed after emergency gas repairs

A westbound lane of the A27 in Lancing remains closed near the junction with Halewick Lane and Busticle Lane following emergency repairs to SGN’s gas network.

SGN said the gas repairs on Upper Brighton Road have been completed, but the lane closure must remain in place while the road surface is reinstated and given time to set. A permit for the works is in place from September 16 to September 25.

The company expects to reopen the road on Thursday, September 24, in the evening, barring unforeseen circumstances. SGN thanked people for their patience and understanding while the work is completed.
