A27 Shoreham Bypass reopens after police incident

The A27 Shoreham Bypass has reopened after being closed in both directions due to a police incident this morning.
National Highways South East said the road was closed between the A283 and A293 at Portslade at about 5.30am on Monday, September 14. South East Coast Ambulance Service crews also attended the scene.
A diversion was put in place and motorists were advised to allow extra journey time or delay their journeys. National Highways confirmed all lanes had reopened by 6.43am. Sussex Police and the ambulance service have been approached for comment.
