Air ambulance lands in Worthing amid police incident at town centre car park

An air ambulance landed in Worthing this afternoon (Friday, 1 August) in response to a police incident that also led to the closure of a town centre car park.

Witnesses reported the helicopter at Steyne Gardens shortly before 3.30pm, with authorities confirming operational disruption nearby.

Worthing Borough Council and Adur & Worthing Councils stated that the High Street multi-storey car park had to be closed due to the incident.
