Appeal for witnesses after car overturns in Worthing collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a car and a parked vehicle caused one vehicle to overturn on Clarendon Road in Worthing on Wednesday morning.

Sussex Police said emergency services were called to the incident at around 9am, with Clarendon Road partially closed while crews dealt with the scene. Officers confirmed that no serious injuries were reported and asked anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward, quoting serial 208 of 14 January.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said three fire engines and a heavy rescue tender were sent to the scene, where crews rescued two people from a car before leaving shortly after 10am. South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed its teams treated two patients at the scene and discharged them from care.
