Artists invited to submit work for Worthing open exhibition

Worthing Museum and Art Gallery is inviting artists from across Sussex to submit artwork for its OPEN26 exhibition, which will mark the venue’s reopening following extensive refurbishment.

The biennial exhibition will run from March to September 2026 and is open to artists of all ages. Participants may submit up to three pieces of work inspired by the theme of Sustainability, reflecting changes made to the museum to improve its environmental performance.

Entry to OPEN26 is free this year thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Submissions close at 5pm on Monday, February 23, with a launch event planned for Thursday, March 26, ahead of the exhibition opening to the public from Saturday, March 28 until Sunday, September 6.
