Boy injured after hit and run collision involving bicycle in Goring

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage cyclist was injured in a collision with a car that failed to stop in Goring.

A 17 year old boy was reported to have been crossing the road near the Sussex Yeoman pub when he was knocked off his bicycle by a car at around 4.10pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The teenager suffered cuts and bruises and his bicycle was damaged in the incident. Officers are now seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time. Police have asked anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting serial 1028 of 4 March.
