Council investigates fake double yellow lines in Durrington

West Sussex County Council is investigating after fake double yellow lines were drawn onto a section of Hildon Close in Durrington.

Photographs taken on Monday, September 7, show the lines, which appear to have been spray painted onto the road. The council said it was aware of the markings and would take any necessary and appropriate action after its investigation.

Residents have been urged not to enter live carriageways because of the risks to pedestrians and other road users.
