Cyclist dies after medical incident on Shoreham beach

A man has died following a medical incident while cycling on Shoreham beach, with emergency services called to the scene on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said officers were called to Lower Beach Road at around 2.56pm on March 17 after reports of a cyclist suffering a medical episode. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed. Sussex Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and the case has been referred to HM coroner.
