Elderly driver taken to hospital after car hits nursery wall in Rustington

An 80-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into the wall of a nursery in Rustington on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to Woodlands Avenue at around 9am on 7 February following reports that a vehicle had collided with the nursery building. The driver, an 80-year-old woman, was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

Sussex Police said officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police by email or by calling 101, quoting the relevant incident reference.
