Emergency crews respond to overturned car in Worthing

Emergency services were called to West Parade in Worthing on Friday morning after a car overturned, leading to a temporary closure of nearby Wallace Avenue. Traffic in the area was reported to be coping well despite the disruption.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it received the call at 8.28am and sent one fire engine to the incident. Crews arrived to find a car on its side and worked to make the scene safe. No details have been released regarding any injuries.

The fire service confirmed that the crew left the scene at 9am. Wallace Avenue was partially blocked for a time while emergency services responded.
