Emergency services recover car stuck on Worthing beach

Emergency services responded to Worthing beach on Monday evening (June 2) after a car became stuck on the stones near the A259.

Photos from the scene showed both police and fire crews assisting with the recovery effort at around 6pm.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that crews were called at 5.57pm by Sussex Police to help remove the vehicle. The fire service added that there were no individuals trapped in the car.

No injuries or ongoing hazards were reported, and the car was successfully removed from the shoreline.
