A man has died following a fall from a car park in Worthing, prompting a major emergency services response.

Emergency services, including multiple police and ambulance vehicles, were called to Ann Street in Worthing on Monday morning (4 August) after reports of a man falling from a car park. Sussex Police confirmed that the 59-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred shortly before midday, with Sussex Police issuing a statement at 12.30pm. The man’s next of kin have been informed, and officers said their thoughts are with the family at this time.

Police said enquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the incident, though it is not believed to be suspicious.
