Ferring charity Link to Hope to open new donation centre

A Ferring-based charity that supports communities in Eastern Europe is opening a new donation centre close to its head office.
Link to Hope has announced the official opening of the facility, which will provide an accessible location for the public to donate items in support of the charity’s humanitarian work abroad.
The new centre is located just 100 yards behind the existing Link to Hope charity shop in Ferring Street and will officially open on Tuesday, 1 July. Operating hours will be Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm. Volunteers will be on hand during opening times to help donors and explain how contributions support the charity’s mission.
Items such as furniture, clothing and bric-a-brac are welcomed, with donations sold through local charity shops and eBay to fund education, elderly support, feeding schemes and crisis relief in Eastern Europe. The charity, which also has shops in Worthing, Littlehampton, Rustington and Goring, describes the new centre as a major step towards making it easier for the public to contribute to its work.
