Fire Breaks Out in Residential Property on Fairfield Close, Shoreham

Firefighters have tackled a blaze that broke out at a residential property on Fairfield Close in Shoreham earlier today, prompting safety warnings for local residents.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at 10.21am following reports of a property fire. Four fire engines were dispatched, and crews discovered flames in the roof space of a house. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high-pressure hose reels and two jets to bring the fire under control.

The public has been urged to avoid the area due to the presence of multiple emergency service vehicles. Residents living nearby have also been advised to keep windows and doors closed while the incident is dealt with.
