Goring by Sea Post Office to reopen at new location after year long closure

A Post Office branch in Goring is set to reopen next month nearly a year after it closed following the resignation of the postmaster.
Goring-by-Sea Post Office closed on March 10 2025 and the former premises were later approved for conversion into a hot food takeaway by Worthing Borough Council. The service will now be restored at a new location inside the Londis store at 319 to 321 Goring Road with the branch due to open on Wednesday March 25 at 1pm.
The relocated branch will offer everyday banking services mail handling home shopping returns and bill payments and will operate Monday to Saturday from 7am to 10pm and Sunday from 8am to 10pm providing 104 hours of service each week. Some services including travel money passport check and send vehicle tax and on demand travel insurance will not be available at the new site.
