Hundreds Attend Inaugural Steyne Gardens Summer Fete in Worthing

Hundreds of people gathered in Worthing over the weekend for the first-ever Steyne Gardens Summer Fete, enjoying a mix of family activities, live entertainment, and local traders.

The event, held across Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July, transformed the town centre garden space into a hub of summer celebration.

Visitors explored stalls from independent makers and artisan producers, alongside a variety of street food and sweet treats. Live music and performances entertained attendees throughout the weekend, adding to the festive atmosphere under sunny skies.

The fete also featured games for children and families, traditional garden amusements, and a dedicated area for dog-friendly activities. Organisers said the event aimed to bring the community together and showcase local talent and businesses.
