Junior table tennis league to launch in Worthing for under 19 players

Young table tennis players in Worthing are being invited to take part in a new junior league organised by Worthing Table Tennis Club, with the five week competition due to begin on 16 April.

The league is open to players under the age of 19 who are not already competing in other leagues, apart from the Cadet League. Organisers say the competition has been designed to provide regular match play while helping young players develop their skills in a supportive but competitive environment.

Teams will consist of two players, with each match featuring two singles games per player as well as a doubles match. Participants do not need to be members of Worthing Table Tennis Club to enter, and players without a teammate can still sign up as the club will help pair them with a partner before the league begins.
