Kitchen fire prompts emergency response in Worthing

Firefighters were called to a kitchen blaze at a property in Grafton Road, Worthing, on Tuesday afternoon.

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service confirmed the incident was reported at 1.50pm on 20 May. Three fire engines from Worthing were dispatched to the scene, with crews using hose reels, jets and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the flames.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to deal with the blaze, which has since been confirmed as accidental in origin. There were no casualties reported.
