Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Worthing seafront

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash along Worthing seafront.

Emergency services were called to the A259 Brighton Road between the junctions with Alexandra Road and Windsor Road at around 3.40pm on 3 November.

The rider of a Honda motorcycle, a 60-year-old local man, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, a white BMW 118 driven by a 57-year-old local man, was not injured in the collision. Police closed part of the road while emergency services attended the scene.

Officers are now investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward. Information can be reported to Sussex Police online quoting serial 845 of 03/11.
