New Chief Nursing Officer Appointed at Sussex Partnership NHS Trust

A new chief nursing officer has been appointed to help lead improvements in mental health services provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Mandy Stevens will take up the role on March 30, 2026, bringing experience from senior nursing leadership roles within the NHS and as a special adviser at the Care Quality Commission.
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which is based at Portland House on Richmond Road in Worthing, provides mental health, learning disability and neurodevelopmental services across Worthing and West Sussex.
Chief executive Dr Jane Padmore said the appointment comes at an important time as the trust continues work on its five year strategy, including introducing continuous quality improvement and strengthening organisational culture.
Ms Stevens said she was pleased to be joining the trust and was committed to creating compassionate and safe environments for service users, families and staff. The trust also thanked David Wilmott for his work as interim chief nursing officer in recent months.
