New Worthing Seafood Festival to Celebrate Coastal Heritage

A new seafood festival is launching in Worthing this summer to celebrate the town’s fishing heritage and promote local industry.
Sea2Shore - Worthing Seafood Festival will take place on Sunday, 13 July, at Windsor Lawns on The Esplanade in East Worthing, running from 11am to 7pm.
The event is organised by the team behind the Between the Blue and Green Film Festival and is free to attend. It will feature a variety of seafood stalls, live music, and interactive sessions aimed at highlighting Worthing’s maritime identity. Organisers hope to support local fishermen and boost tourism while promoting sustainable practices.
Confirmed vendors include Taco Look At Me Now, Proto Group with paella and oysters, Howie’s Coffee, and the G-Lite Ice Cream Cart. The festival is sponsored by Worthing Lions, Hemiko, and Shake It Up Creative. Organisers are also encouraging long-term sourcing partnerships between vendors and local fishermen to support the coastal economy.
