Person Rescued After Car Crashes Into House in Southwick

A person was rescued and taken to hospital after a car crashed into a residential property on Manor Hall Road in Southwick on Monday morning. Emergency services were called to the scene and remained in attendance for several hours.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said it was called at approximately 9.50am to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a property. A crew attended, assessed and treated the driver, and then transported them to hospital for further medical treatment.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 10.06am and mobilised a fire engine and a heavy rescue tender. Firefighters found a car had driven into a house, rescued a person from the vehicle and made the scene safe. Sussex Police and ambulance crews also attended, with fire crews leaving the scene at 12.35pm.
