Police appeal after pedestrian injured in Lancing hit-and-run

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in Lancing.

The 25-year-old local man was walking along Brighton Road when he was struck by a dark blue or black estate car between 8.45am and 9am on Wednesday, 3 September. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment following the incident. Officers are now seeking information to help trace the driver involved.
