Police appeal after teenager bitten by dog in Goring

Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was bitten by a dog in Goring.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Monday, 1 September, in Coleridge Road.
The boy was walking with a friend in Coleridge Crescent before turning into Coleridge Road, where they encountered a man with a dog believed to be a Rottweiler. As they passed, the dog reportedly jumped up and bit the teenager on the arm. The boy called his mother, and when she arrived, the man walked away from the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital by his mother for treatment and has since been discharged to recover at home. Sussex Police confirmed officers are following multiple lines of enquiry and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact them online or call 101 quoting serial 1108 of 01/09.
