Police Increase Patrols After Travellers Arrive in Durrington

Police have stepped up patrols in Durrington after a group of travellers established an encampment on private land in Sunflower Street.
Officers were first made aware of the situation on Saturday 7 June and have since been working with local residents, agencies, and the landowner to resolve the matter.
A police spokesperson confirmed on Monday that patrols had been increased and that the situation was being closely monitored. The public is being urged to report any suspicious behaviour or criminal activity through the Sussex Police website or by calling 101, with emergencies directed to 999.
