Police investigate stabbing in Victoria Park Worthing

A man in his 40s remains in hospital after being stabbed in Victoria Park in the early hours of Saturday February 28, Sussex Police have confirmed.

Officers were called to reports of an attack at around 2.45am where two men are believed to have assaulted the victim following a brief interaction in the park. The victim sustained significant injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The suspects are described as white men aged between 20 and 30 wearing grey tracksuits with their hoods up and faces covered. Police enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made as part of the investigation which is being conducted under Operation Evesham.
