Sussex Police are set to increase their presence around Thomas A Becket Junior School in Worthing following concerns that some drivers are not complying with a Traffic Regulation Order in the area.
The move follows reports of vehicles ignoring restrictions on Glebeside Avenue, particularly at busy school times. Police say the additional patrols are intended to support road safety and raise awareness of the measures in place to protect pupils, families, and other road users.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said officers would be visible in the coming days to encourage compliance and thanked residents and motorists for their cooperation in helping to keep the area safe.
