A power cut affected parts of Tarring and Durrington on Sunday morning after an underground electricity cable fault on a high voltage network, according to UK Power Networks.

Areas affected included Littlehampton Road opposite Durrington High School, The Boulevard, Terringes Avenue, Castle Road and Upton Road. The Esso and Tesco Express petrol station on Littlehampton Road was forced to close because of the outage.
