Serious collision closes Littlehampton Road in Worthing

A major road in Worthing has been closed following a serious collision, with a large emergency service response in place.

Police closed the A2032 Littlehampton Road in both directions on Tuesday afternoon, May 12.

The closure is in place between The Boulevard at Durrington Roundabout and Ringmer Road, opposite the North Star pub.

Emergency services, including police and ambulances, were seen at the scene following reports of the incident with the Air Ambulance landing close by and leaving the scene at 2:45pm.

Traffic is likely to be affected in the surrounding area while the road remains closed.
