Southwick motorcyclist seriously injured in A259 collision

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a road traffic collision on the A259 in Southwick.

The crash involved a black motorcycle and a Hyundai i20 on Albion Street near the junction with Colebrook Road at around 2.30pm on January 21. The motorcyclist, a 20 year old woman from Hove, was taken to hospital where she remains receiving treatment.

The road was closed while police carried out collision investigation work. Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage from the area at the time to contact them as enquiries continue.
