Three arrested after man injured in Worthing assault

Three men have been arrested after a 21 year old man suffered a facial injury during an incident in Worthing.

Emergency services were called to Manor Parade at around 7.10am on Thursday April 16 following reports of an assault. Sussex Police said the victim, who is from Crawley, sustained a cut to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment after being assessed at the scene by ambulance crews.

Officers reported that three men in their 20s were seen running from the area and were later arrested nearby on suspicion of offences including causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article, possession of drugs and shop theft. Police have appealed for information and asked anyone with details to contact them quoting serial 215 of 16 April.
