Three men charged over Worthing tanning salon fire appear in court

Three men accused of involvement in a fire at a tanning salon in Worthing have appeared before magistrates. The incident took place at the Tantastic salon in Broadwater Street at about 11pm on Monday 21 October last year.
Police said the investigation was led by Worthing CID and resulted in charges of conspiracy to commit arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
The men charged are Stuart Jenkins, 62, of Bridge Street, Wickham in Hampshire; Brandon Tipling, 20, of Brigstocke Road, Bristol; and Archie Ellins, 19, of Hillsley Road, Portsmouth.
The trio appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday 10 November. The case has been sent to Lewes Crown Court, where they are due to appear on Monday 8 December.
