Tree crashes into flat window in Worthing street incident

Fire crews were called to a residential street in Worthing after a tree fell across the road and into a flat window.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was alerted to the incident in Bedford Row at 4.55pm on 28 April. One fire engine was sent to the scene, where firefighters found the fallen tree obstructing the road and causing damage to a property.

Crews worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene at 7.45pm. Sussex Police also attended the incident.
