Trial date set for Worthing man accused of killing his brother

A man accused of killing his brother in Tarring will stand trial later this year.

Taylor Mitten, 22, of Lindum Road in Worthing, was arrested by Sussex Police on September 5, 2025, and later charged with murder. The arrest came two days after the death of 25 year old Jack Mitten at a property in Lindum Road.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police confirmed that the case is going to trial on Tuesday May 5, 2026. The hearing is expected to take place at Lewes Crown Court sitting in Hove.
