Two arrested after cannabis plants found in former Worthing nightclub

Two men have been arrested after police discovered a cannabis growing operation inside the former Angels Bar and Club in High Street, Worthing.

Sussex Police received a report of electricity abstraction at the premises at about 12.20pm on August 21. Officers subsequently found what police described as a very large quantity of cannabis plants growing inside the property. Two men, aged 39 and 43 and from Brighton, were arrested in connection with cultivating cannabis and have been released under investigation.
