Two people were taken to hospital after a car collided with a pillar at Stoke Abbott Road Car Park in Worthing on Wednesday evening. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 5pm following reports of an incident involving a single vehicle.
Sussex Police said officers attended the car park at 5.06pm after receiving a report that a car had struck a pillar. Ambulance crews and the fire service were also present as part of a multi-agency response.
Police confirmed that two people were taken to hospital following the collision, with one person reported to have sustained a serious injury. No further details about the cause of the incident have been released.
