Two year old becomes youngest member of Worthing Golf Club

A two year old boy has become the youngest member in the 120 year history of Worthing Golf Club. James Hearne Jnr, aged two, has joined the club and may be among the youngest golf club members in the UK.
James has shown early aptitude for the sport, using a putter designed for much older children and demonstrating coordination that his coach describes as remarkable. His family say he has been interested in golf since he could walk, encouraged initially by his grandfather who took him to the putting green.
His parents say they first realised his strength in the sport when he began mimicking professional golfers on television. Club members have drawn comparisons with well known players who also began at a young age, although his family emphasise they simply want him to enjoy the game without pressure.
