Winter trading licences open for Adur and Worthing businesses

Independent businesses in Adur and Worthing are being offered the chance to apply for a winter season concession licence to trade in popular community locations.
Adur and Worthing Councils said applications are still open for the seasonal scheme, which allows traders to operate at selected sites including the promenade, parks and green spaces. The licences run from October through to March and are aimed at providing unique opportunities for local businesses.
The initial deadline for applications was set for Friday, 26 September, but the councils confirmed they will continue to consider late submissions until the end of December. Traders of all sizes are encouraged to apply, with officials emphasising they are keen to hear from anyone who can bring goods or services to benefit both residents and visitors.
Full details of the scheme and an online application form can be found on the councils’ website at adur-worthing.gov.uk.
