Witness appeal after public order incident in Worthing town centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a public order incident in South Street, Worthing, where three people were reported to have caused a disturbance from the roof of a premises.
Officers were called at around 7.10pm on Wednesday 8 April following reports that a group had been throwing gravel and vape liquid while verbally abusing members of the public. Emergency services attended the scene and three individuals were arrested in connection with the incident.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance, using threatening or abusive behaviour, and common assault, and has since been issued with a community resolution. An 18-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were also arrested on suspicion of public order offences, with the woman additionally suspected of breaching a community protection order. Both have been released on bail while enquiries continue, and police are urging anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward, quoting serial 1342 of 08/04.
