Witnesses sought after woman verbally abused outside Findon petrol station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was verbally abused outside the Findon Valley Service Station on Findon Road in Worthing.

The incident happened between 6.45pm and 7.05pm on Saturday, 20 July, when a man wearing a ‘Kobra Kai’ t-shirt reportedly shouted abuse at a woman as she left the BP petrol station. The man, believed to have been driving a Ford Transit van, is said to have continued shouting after exiting the forecourt and stopping on the nearby A24.

Officers have identified a suspect and say enquiries remain ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting reference 1132 of 21/07.
