Woman Arrested After Stabbing in Broadwater Street West

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm following a stabbing in Broadwater Street West, Worthing, on Wednesday morning.

Police were called to an address shortly before 9am, where a 28-year-old man—known to the suspect—was found with injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment, with police confirming his injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing. A 22-year-old woman remains in police custody while enquiries continue.

Multiple emergency services, including police and ambulances, were seen responding to the incident. An air ambulance was also dispatched by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance charity, landing nearby to provide on-scene treatment before returning to base.
