Worthing cocktail bar seeks later weekend opening hours

A Worthing cocktail bar is seeking permission to extend its weekend licensing hours, allowing it to serve alcohol and provide entertainment until later into the night.

Beachcomber Leisure Ltd has applied to Worthing Borough Council for a variation to the premises licence at Molotov Cocktail & Vodka Bar on Chatsworth Road. The proposal would extend the current Friday and Saturday night hours, moving last orders from 3am to 4am, with closing time set at 4.30am.

The licence already permits alcohol sales and regulated entertainment from 11am until 3am Monday to Saturday, and 12pm until 2am on Sundays. No other changes are being sought under the application. Public consultation is open until Thursday, 30 October, with a licensing committee hearing scheduled for Wednesday, 26 November, at 6.30pm if objections are raised.
