Worthing cycling charity delays 2026 season over staffing issue

A Worthing cycling charity has delayed the start of its 2026 season due to a staffing issue, with bookings put on hold until further notice.
CYCALL, an inclusive cycling project based at Brooklands Park, usually operates between May and September, offering a range of adapted and standard bikes for adults and children of all abilities. Trustees said the decision to postpone opening was made after the individual appointed as manager and session leader became unable to take up the role.
In a statement, the charity said the manager position was essential to the safe and effective running of the season and confirmed it would be re-advertised. The temporary, part-time role offers flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and remains open for applications as the organisation works towards launching the 2026 season once staffing is secured.
