Worthing FC crowned champions and secure promotion to National League Premier

Worthing FC have been crowned champions of the National League South and secured promotion to the National League Premier for the first time in the club’s history after a 2-0 win over Ebbsfleet United.
A record crowd of 4,002 at Woodside Road saw Adam Hinshelwood’s side deliver a composed performance in a decisive final-day fixture. Joe Cook opened the scoring shortly before half-time, reacting quickest to a rebound and firing into the top corner. Early in the second half, Razz Coleman De-Graft doubled the lead with a powerful strike from outside the box after linking up with captain Joel Colbran.
The victory confirms a steady rise for Worthing, who had reached the play-offs in each of their previous three seasons at this level before securing the title. The result ensures promotion regardless of other outcomes, with the club now preparing to compete against established sides in the National League Premier next season.
